Jarte is a free, tabbed word processor based on Microsoft WordPad word processing engine that is built into Windows. Jarte is better looking word processor than most other word applications and has some features that can outpower its competitors. It provides all the standard text-formatting tools and includes a spell checker and clipboard that can hold 25 items at once. It has a tabbed design similar to an internet browser which lets you have multiple documents open at once instead of opening the same program a number of times.
